Renew License Early to Avoid Processing Delay - California State Board of Pharmacy

According to a recent email communication from the Board:
"As the June 30 end of the fiscal year approaches, the California State Board of Pharmacy expects a delay in processing payments for license renewals submitted by mail during the last week of June and first two weeks of July.
To avoid delay, pharmacists, advance practice pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and designated representatives are encouraged to renew your license online. Renewal payments online will not be delayed in processing. To [renew online, go to www.pharmacy.ca.gov and click on License Renewal Online under “Quick Hits.”]
To renew a personal or facility license by mail, click on License Renewal by Mail under “Quick Hits” to find, download and print the appropriate renewal application. Mail the application and payment to California State Board of Pharmacy, 2720 Gateway Oaks Drive., Suite 100, Sacramento, CA 95833.
Licensees renewing by mail are urged to submit payment early to avoid processing delays if your license is set to expire June 30 or July 1, 2020. To ensure the Board’s online verification system accurately reflects your license renewal status during the delay period, please mail your payment by June 11, 2020."
