Email Registration - California State Board of Pharmacy

• California Designated Representative Training Courses (wholesaler, third-party logistics provider, 3PL, reverse distributor) - Approved by the California State Board of Pharmacy - Earn a training affidavit - If you are applying for a California Designated Representative license, then you’re also going to need to include proof of required training (specifically, a training affidavit) in your license application packet. California State Board of Pharmacy Email Registration

The Board recently sent out a reminder that licensees must sign up for email notices.

"As the new year begins, licensees are reminded of requirements to sign up for email notices from the Board of Pharmacy.  

Pursuant to Business and Professions Code section 4013, “Each pharmacist, intern pharmacist, pharmacy technician, designated representative and designated representative-3PL licensed in this state shall join the board’s email notification list within 60 days of obtaining a license or at the time of license renewal.”  

In addition, “Each pharmacist, intern pharmacist, pharmacy technician, designated representative, and designated representative-3PL licensed in this state shall update his or her email address with the board’s email notification list within 30 days of a change in the licensee’s email address.”  

Because the board disseminates important information through emails, licensees are encouraged to register their email addresses before license renewal.  

The process is fast and easy. To register your email address online, go to https://www.dca.ca.gov/webapps/pharmacy/subscribe.php.  

Email addresses are confidential and not posted on the board’s online license verification system."
