Recycle wheelchairs, shower chairs and other durable medical equipment | Richmond Times-Dispatch:

"The Foundation for Rehabilitation Equipment and Endowment (FREE) accepts donations of gently used, durable medical equipment such as walkers, crutches, shower chairs and wheelchairs.

The 10-year-old organization sanitizes and repairs items, then donates them to low-income people who are uninsured or underinsured.

The Roanoke-based foundation has chapters and partners across the state. The Richmond chapter operates out of the Goodwill Industries store at 6301 Midlothian Turnpike. Items can be dropped off at any Goodwill of Central Virginia location."
