Sherman Law Amendment Spawned HMDR Licensing

Updated January 26, 2022

The original link broke.

Sadly, the HMDR Program page no longer contains a link to the Sherman Law.

However I found this link on the internet:

---  the original post follows below  ---

According to the California Department of Public Health:
"The Home Medical Device Retailer (HMDR) licensing program is administered as part of the Medical Device Safety and Youth Tobacco Enforcement Section and is governed by law sections found in the California Sherman Food, Drug and Cosmetic Law (January 1, 2008 Edition). The Sherman Law was amended in the 1999-2000 legislative session to establish the HMDR licensing program."
